What is the AccessDx PGx Profile?

The AccessDx PGx Profile is a pharmacogenomic (PGx) test that analyzes germline DNA. The test includes actionable genes with clinically actionable PGx associations supported by regulatory authorities and consortia.

The AccessDx PGx Profile:

What genes are included on the AccessDx PGx Profile?

The AccessDx PGx Profile analyzes 37+ genes: ABCB1, ABCG2, ACYP2, ADRA2A, ANKK1, CEP72, COMT, CYP1A2, CYP2B6, CYP2C, CYP2C19, CYP2C8, CYP2C9, CYP2D6, CYP3A4, CYP3A5, CYP4F2, DPYD, DRD2, F2, F5, FKBP5, G6PD, GRIK4, HCP5/HLA-B*57:01, HTR2A, HTR2C, IFNL4, MTHFR, NUDT15, OPRM1, SLC6A4, SLCO1B1, TPMT, UGT1A1, UGT2B15, and VKORC1.

APOE and three additional HLA tests are available upon request: HLA-A*31:01, HLA-B*15:02, and HLA-B*58:01.

Yes, the AccessDx PGx Profile results auto-populate into our clinical decision support tools, which can be accessed from the AccessDx laboratory portal or from several EMRs through direct integrations of the 2bPrecise platform or YouScript® clinical decision support software.

Is the PGx Profile covered by insurance?

PGx testing is typically covered when proper medical necessity has been documented based on the patient’s condition and/or prescribed medications. This coverage continues to evolve. As with any other test or service, reimbursement is subject to individual health plan policies, including deductible and copay amounts for which the patient may be responsible.
